We encourage our swimmers to swim with their school teams. We do not allow team swimmers to swim with other USA-Swimming teams. We attend about 6 indoor meets throughout the year. Saturday summer practices will be at Lake Meredith. We will participate in an open water swim race near Tulsa Oklahoma in early September (Tall Chief Open Water Challenge) each year and are planning a trip to swim La Jolla Cove in California during the summer of 2019.
To move up to the A team, B team swimmers must demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of competitive swimming as well as a great attitude and work ethic. A team swimmers practice 10 times a month, pay $65 a month, and must commit to year-round participation.
